Tara Miller, BAHons, CNP

taraTara Miller is a Holistic Nutritionist and Wellness Coach with a passion for food, health and happiness.  She believes that fresh, whole foods are an essential part of a healthy and full life and is dedicated to showing people that achieving optimum health is easier than they think!  She understands the many obstacles that people face in their daily lives that can make this difficult, but has the knowledge to help individuals plan and simplify so that they have time for proper nourishment and relaxation.

Tara emphasizes the connection between the mind and the body.  While completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Guelph, she not only studied the important relationship between physical and mental health but experienced it first hand as well.  The poor dietary and lifestyle choices associated with university living started to take a toll on her body - subsequently her grades, motivation and usual positivity started to decline. She decided to take action and make the necessary changes through diet and exercise to regain the high levels energy, optimum and vibrancy she used to possess.  The holistic approach to this healing was sustainable, affordable and brought about great results.

This experience lead Tara to study at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Through her studies she has gained a solid understanding of how the body works and what it needs not only to function but to thrive! In addition to her education, Tara brings an appreciation for great food and culinary art to her practice.  She understands that people tend to think that healthy eating has to be tasteless and boring. Tara hopes to help others establish positive relationships with food in a culture full of misconceptions and encourage them to see food as a source of nourishment, energy and joy.
